With overhanging trees that gently stroke the water to the pristine sand that couldn’t get any whiter, you’ve got yourself a recipe for pure paradise.

Because it’s a sheltered cove, it’s the perfect place for a snorkel, too.

14. Bournemouth Beach, United Kingdom

You would be forgiven for thinking that the United Kingdom is generally too cold and wet to be considered a tropical paradise.

However, there are some gems to be found in amongst the rainy weather. Bournemouth beach is considered to be one of the nicest beaches in the UK, which is why it has made Trip Advisor’s top 25.

As well as being a great beach to establish yourself for the day, it’s also nice and close to some excellent restaurants, as well as some good shopping.

As many revelers have described, ‘fig tree bay takes your breath away.’ As well as its distinctive blue umbrellas dotted along the sand, this lively beach offers a number of different water sports, so you don’t have to worry about getting bored.

The next beach on our list is touted as a delightful beach that’s made up of white sand running for miles.

There are a lot of beaches on the coastline of Portugal, but none of them quite come close to the beauty of Falesia beach.

With lovely looking pine cliffs watching over the water and beautiful wooden steps to make your descent, you’ll feel like you’re stepping back in time when you revel on this strip of Portugal’s finest.

11. Elafonissi Beach, Greece

For the first time on our list, we’ve come across a pink sand beach. Elafonissi beach in Greece will capture your imagination as soon as you see it. The water is clear as well if you can take your eyes off the sand.

In fact, the light blue water complements the shade of pink on the beach perfectly. The ocean itself is calm and serene, making you feel like you’re a world away from reality.
