It took 800 drones to create a ghost plane in the sky, which was reminiscent of the mighty shire fireworks scene in Lord of the Rings.
The Nanchang Flight Convention blew visitors away with the spectacular choreography of 800 drones that came together in the night sky to form a fighter jet, an airliner, and a plane. The display was intended to showcase China’s latest developments in drone technology and aviation.
Visitors could marvel at over 100 aircraft on display at the convention, sourced from China, as well as other countries. The models for viewing ranged from fighter jets to commercial and even military planes.
The flight convention is the first of its kind in the Jiangxi Province, and it was meant to promote Nanchang’s aviation industry, in the hopes of increasing investment opportunities.
